REJUVI Pigment Removal
THE FACTS
Body art and Tattoos are usually an expression of your personality at a certain stage in your life. Sometimes as time passes by you may no longer want or desire to have the tattoos any longer.
For many years the removal methods available were too painful and expensive that they were not a viable option. The risk of scarring was immense and loss of natural pigment would leave a white patch that resembled a scar anyway.
But now, there is a new, advanced alternative….the Rejuvi removal system. This system will help to remove the tattoo * or fade tattoos significantly to enable a redesign or cover up tattoo.
THE SCIENCE
How does it work?
Rejuvi is a specially formulated fluid that contains magnetic properties. The Rejuvi fluid is administered using a micro-pigmentation or tattoo machine and immediately bonds with the original tattoo ink. Because this ink is made from iron oxides the fluid magnetises the particles of ink within the tattoo. The particles become too large for the skin to hold and the fluid erupts through the skins surface taking the coloured ink with it.
This excess ink will cause an extremely hard crust to form on the skins surface, within 6 – 12 hours. This crust MUST remain protected until it naturally falls from the body – taking the ink with it, this process takes between 10 – 14 days.
Generally the first treatment will provide excellent results. Once the crust has naturally fallen away, a large amount of ink will have been removed from the skin. However, it is important to note that every case will be different.
Usually between 4 and 8 sessions are needed to remove most tattoos.
Is it the same as laser removal?
Laser works by bombarding the tattoo, breaking down the ink, until the particles are small enough to be absorbed into the body.
Rejuvi draws the ink out of the skin, removing the ink particles. Rejuvi is also not colour selective and will remove all inks, unlike some laser machines which can’t break down certain colours, usually the lighter shades
Can I have Rejuvi after laser removal?
This will be dependent on how many sessions you have had from laser and how it has affected the skin. Usually if you have had more than 3 treatments with laser you will not respond well to this treatment, however This can be determined at your consultation.
Does it work on any tattoo on any person?
Rejuvi will work on almost any tattoo whether professionally applied or homemade. It will not work on gloss tattoos. The success rate for full removal is 92 %**. There are certain skin types that will be susceptible to keloid scarring and are therefore not suitable. We will also not use the system on pregnant or breastfeeding clients, certain medications are also Contra-Indicated, for full details please ask before booking your consultation.
How long is the treatment session?
The treatment will take a minimum of 45 mins to numb the skin and an additional 15 – 60 minutes session of removal, depending on the size.
How often can I have the treatment?
You will be required to wait between 8 – 12 weeks between each treatment to allow the skin to heal fully.
How long will it take to remove the tattoo?
This will be totally dependent on the individual, size of the tattoo and how you respond to the treatment.
What size tattoo can be removed?
The Rejuvi system is best for smaller tattoos. The largest area that can be treated safely is approximately 5x5cms. The healing process is very important and an area larger than this would be more prone to infection.
For larger areas – the tattoo will be sectioned into smaller parts and worked on individually.
You will be shown this at your consultation.
What aftercare is required?
You will be given Rejuvi after care cream and instructions which must be strictly followed .The aftercare is the most important part of the treatment.
There is a high risk of infection or scarring if you do not follow these instructions. The crust must be left to fall off naturally, please be aware that because the wound can be up to 3mm in depth this can take up to 14 days. If you pick, pull or knock off the crust will affect the overall result.
The area must be kept dry and cool until the scab has formed and has started to naturally fall away.
Can you remove a tattoo more quickly?
In order to remove the tattoo effectively, with minimal trauma to the skin, it is necessary to wait 8 – 12 weeks between treatments and to follow the aftercare advice perfectly.
Can you remove semi-permanent makeup?
Yes, the Rejuvi system can be used to remove semi-permanent makeup from the face. This will generally be a quicker treatment than tattoo removal, as Semi-permanent makeup is usually not as deep as a tattoo, it also has a 100%** success rate.
*We cannot guarantee 100% removal of a tattoo in every case.

REJUVI EXTRA
Bi Therapy Tattoo Removal is about combining Laser and Non Laser techniques in order to maximise their effectiveness.
Laser and Non Laser tattoo removal work in completely different ways. With Laser dispersing the ink into the body and non laser taking the ink out of the body in the same way it was tattooed. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages, but when combined and ‘tailored to each individual persons need’s it can cut down considerably on the time is needed to remove a tattoo completely. It will also address the issues of colours far more effectively than laser alone or Rejuvi on it’s own.
The theory is simple, non laser tattoo removal works very well removing the BULK of the ink in the first few sessions whilst laser works better the less ink it has to disperse. By combining the two methods we are able to maximise on the strengths of each one.
